What is recorded here

Five wells still wet the grass where Termon Rock stands, feeding a church and two graveyards that have watched Carrickmore since early Christian times. The cross-carved stone marks the place as Termon Conyn or Tearmann Comain, a boundary drawn in rock rather than ink. People may have drunk from those wells during fever or festival, trusting the water to carry them through what flesh alone could not bear.
