What is recorded here
In pasture. A motte (KK025-008----) is located c. 90m to the SSW. Described by Robertson (1872-3, 256-7) as an 'ancient' church with 'old masonry is concealed by many a coat of dashing; however, in one or two places it does make its appearance. Although the mullions and jambs of door and windows are all gone, the thick walls speak for themselves'. Robertson (ibid.) also mentions a medieval font (KK025-007002-) within the interior. Cockerham (2009, 362) lists a late 17th-century memorial, possibly a headstone (KK025-007004-) from the church or graveyard (KK025-007003-).
