Aerial photographs reveal a hidden complex north of the church and graveyard, including a rectangular enclosure that may have been a moated site. These earthworks are now barely visible on the ground, reduced to faint lines beneath grass and memory. What lived there, who dug those ditches, and why the place vanished from common sight remains unknown. The land keeps its shape even when people stop seeing it.

To N of church (CW003-005001-) and graveyard (CW003-005002-) aerial photographs (CUCAP AYP 24, 25) show complex of earthworks (CW003-005007-), including rectangular enclosure (CW003-005008-), possibly moated site.
