In N half of early ecclesiastical enclosure (13890). Bowman (1934, 666) equates church site with ringfort (12810); 'locally called 'An Cillin (the Little Church)...many grass-covered mounds mark the site of the church'. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
