What is recorded here
John O'Donovan writing in the 1830s (O'Flanagan 1931, vol. 1, 50) refers to a church of Cill Mhic Duach which is probably the supposed church (RO036-013002-). The only man (50s) living in the townland of Kilmacuagh knew of no church other than (RO036-013002-). It is possible that the church of Ballynafad (RO029-140----) could have been intended.
