What is recorded here
Freestanding chimneystack, built 1907. Comprising square-profile base with octagonal shaft. Round-headed opening to east with brick voussoirs.
An elegant chimney surviving as a solitary relic of the so-called "Cobh Power House". The chimney, the angles of its red brick octagonal shaft picked out with vitrified blue brick, is a prominent landmark.
