Flight of cut limestone steps, built c. 1865, set into snecked sandstone walls having limestone quoins. Metal railings to staircase. Ashlar limestone piers to north elevation.
Finely cut limestone steps, built shortly after the inauguration of Cobh railway station, they are a notable example of late nineteenth century craftsmanship. The steps form an interesting and unusual feature in the landscape.
This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
