Childrens Burial Ground occupies the south sector of a Galway ringfort, where an old field wall and the fort bank still trap a narrow, irregular chamber. Small set stones align across the earth like markers for lives too brief to remember. The children may have belonged to the fortress families, their bodies returned to soil beside the wall that protected them.

Within S sector of a ringfort (GA029-073----). An irregularly shaped area (NW-SE 22.5m, NE-SW 11.7m) enclosed from SE to S by the foundations of an old field wall, and from S to WNW by the bank of the ringfort Several small set stones aligned ESE-WNW are visible.
