Children's Burial Ground in County Galway, Ireland may occupy a deep rectangular hollow or a small triangular enclosure marked by scattered limestone pebbles. The exact boundary remains unclear, but the pebbles and earthen banks suggest a place set apart for the smallest lives. An unmarked avenue leads north from the hollow into the next field, inviting wonder about the children who played there before they died.

In level grassland. The exact location of this CBG is unclear and is not known locally. It may have been within a deep rectangular hollow (N-S 40m, E-W 25m) which is enclosed at NW, N and NE by a low earthen bank and within which a number of haphazardly placed limestone boulders and pebbles (possible grave-markers) are visible. Or it may be a small triangular enclosure (E-W 10m), immediately to SW of the former, which is defined on N and E sides by a similar bank and at SW by the hedge along the roadway. It also contains limestone pebbles. An 'avenue' (Wth 12m) defined by two low earthen banks, which is not indicated on OS 6-inch maps, runs in a N direction from the hollow into the next field; its relationship with the hollow or enclosure in unclear.
