What is recorded here
In grassland atop low rise of ground with good views in all directions. Holy well (TS066-065----) 257m to NW. No surface remains visible of any children's burial ground in vicinity of church (TS066-068001-) or cross (TS066-068002-). According to the OS letters there was a local tradition that this place had been a burial ground for unbaptised children, though this practise had ceased by 1840 (O'Flanagan 1930, vol. 3, 36).
