A circular enclosure with a centrally located Man-made underground passage is marked at this location on the first edition of the OS map. Only the 'Cave' is indicated on the second edition.......the Man-made underground passage (KE098-006001-) has been infilled (local information). The site is marked by a deposit of field clearance material and dense vegetation. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 694.
