What is recorded here

In pasture within the SE quadrant of ringfort (LI048-063----) known locally as 'Moorestown fort'. Not depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map. Annotated ‘Cave’ on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map where it is shown as a circular-shaped opening (diam. c. 3m) in SE quadrant of ringfort. Westropp (1916/17, 23) noted the presence of a Man-made underground passage inside Moorestown fort. No surface remains visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 or on Google Earth orthoimages. See attached Google Earth orthoimages.

Explorer Tom Treada Na Ríogh has an imaginary twin across the sea that keeps waving at it. The moat is basically a giant historical shrug right now on the hilltop. Walk past slowly like you're in a film.

Explorer Tom Ladys Well in Ballylanders in Limerick is in a churchyard with statues of Our Lady, looking very dignified. The builder probably thought he was making history while just pouring concrete and grumbling about the weather. Bring your nan, she'll know more than me.
