In pasture within the SE quadrant of ringfort (LI048-063----) known locally as 'Moorestown fort'. Not depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map. Annotated ‘Cave’ on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map where it is shown as a circular-shaped opening (diam. c. 3m) in SE quadrant of ringfort. Westropp (1916/17, 23) noted the presence of a Man-made underground passage inside Moorestown fort. No surface remains visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 or on Google Earth orthoimages.
