One chamber, four doors, and a floor of forgotten days. Coleman dug in 1942 to find charcoal, fish shells, animal bones, iron, bronze, worked stone and worked bone: not treasure, but dinner, heat, tools and time. The cave did not impress; it repeated. People returned, lived, left scraps behind, and let the limestone keep what they did not carry home.
