Rincolisky Castle was built by the Ó Driscoll (O'Driscoll) clan, an influential Gaelic family in medieval Ireland, and dates to the early medieval period. It is remembered as a strategic stronghold associated with the Ó Driscoll rulers of the Barony of Cloyne in County Cork.
