What is recorded here
Redington (1916, 53-4) refers to a Man-made underground passage within the cashel (GA096-022----) that was 'said to be of three rooms' and had been filled in. McCaffrey (1952, 150, no. 74) could find no trace of it. The landowner indicated that he had blocked up a Man-made underground passage in the N half of the monument.
