What is recorded here

Castle, unclassified in Ladestown is a duplicate label for the same fortified house and bawn already recorded elsewhere. Larkin’s 1808 map drew it as a castle ruin, but the name and classification never became clear. The building may have worn many identities before people stopped remembering which one was true.
