What is recorded here
Killosseragh still carries the name Castle Field, yet no wall, gate or room has emerged to prove the claim. The land may be hiding a lost castle beneath grass and memory, waiting for someone patient enough to listen for its shape.
According to Power (1952, 131) there is a field called Páirc a' Caisleáin - the castle field - at Killosseragh, which could indicated the former presence of a castle. It remains unlocated.
