Keylnemadry belonged to Gilladuff MacJonyn in 1574, but no one now knows which field, bank or hollow holds its stones. The name floats above Houndswood like a marker dropped into deep water, pointing at a loss nobody can yet picture. Perhaps a wall still stands buried under grass, waiting for someone to stop running and look down.
