Cloonyourish, County Roscommon. No visible remains. The Strafford map of 1636 marks it, and the Earl of Clonrickard held 257 acres there in 1641. Whether the castle stood tall or fell before the surveyors arrived, the land remember its shape while human memory forgot the name.
A castle at Cloneyoris, where the Earl of Clonrickard owned a Quarter amounting to 257 acres in 1641 is marked on the Strafford map of c. 1636 (Simington 1949, Athlone (445)). It was not encountered.
