What is recorded here
Cloonmucker, Commock and Camagh may have been one place when the castle stood. That is the shape of the missing map: a largerCommock, a forgotten boundary, and a tower house lost between townland names.
Depicted as a tower house-type structure in the the townland of 'Camagh' on an early 17th-century map of Moydow barony (BL, Cotton MS Augustus I.ii.28). The adjoining townland of Cloonmucker is not shown on the map, suggesting that Commock was larger in the 17th century and possibly incorporated Cloonmucker. Not located.
