Located on a broad plateau. Described as Castle Miles on the 1840 and 1927 eds of the OS 6-inch map. A wall (L 4.5m E-W; T 1.25m; H 1.5m) on the inner face of the bank of moated site (WA037-021001-) at N, with a recess on the N side, may be the remains of a gateway or of a castle.
