Cashlankeegh stands erased beneath the pasture of Ballinamore House, its rectangular shadow swallowed by grass and time. The name survived on paper long after the stones vanished, marking a forgotten chamber near the Geestaun River. What lived inside remains unknown, but the land still holds the shape of what was lost.

In pasture in the grounds of Ballinamore House, an 18th-century country house (NIAH no 31308003), located on level elevated ground, close to a break of slope where ground falls towards the Geestaun River which is 90m to W. A rectangular building (14-15m NW−SE; 9-10m NE−SW) is indicated and named 'Cashlankeegh' on 1838 OS 6-inch map; on later map editions it is indicated as 'Cashlankeegh (in Ruins)’.
