Prominently situated on the summit of Keeraunnageeragh (1009 ft OD). An oval cairn of small granite stones (NE-SW c. 19.7m, H 3.2m) much disturbed on NE side and at centre where there is a depression. Neolithic passage tomb; dates to the earlier part of the Neolithic period in Ireland (c. 3700–2500 BC). Its location on a prominent hill summit suggests ritual or ceremonial significance, typical of Neolithic funerary monuments in the region.
