What is recorded here

That is a fairy fort in Galway, a broken stone ring on a ridge end where people may have stood before the wall fell. It is not a display or a new invention, though a modern field wall now crosses part of it. The ancient line still turns through grass and soil, marking a choice made long before the place became background.

On S end of a ridge. Poorly preserved subcircular cashel (N-S c. 35m, E-W 30m) defined by a collapsed drystone wall overlain from E through S to W by a modern field wall. A gap at NW appears modern.
