Double-arch road bridge crossing tidal river, built c.1820. Rubble limestone construction having segmental arches with ashlar voussoirs. Upright coping stones to parapet and natural earth cutwaters.

Situated in a coastal location, this picturesque road bridge is a handsome addition to the landscape. The bridge exhibits craftsmanship of a high standard, and is a reminder of the excellent skills of nineteenth century masons. The inclusion of a second smaller arch which acts as an overflow in times of flood is a distinctive feature.
