What is recorded here

Section of canal, built c.1845, with squared random stone walls, limestone flagstones and cast-iron mooring posts.
While the eastern side of the quay has been altered, the western end retains its original form and character. The quay walls are of architectural and technical merit. The canal is an important feature of Leitrim Town.
