What is recorded here

Situated near the centre of Knockeen hillfort (WI037-018----). Subcircular cairn (dims. 18.7m N-S; 10m E-W; H 1.8-2.5m), covered with earth. Field stones have been added to the E and W sides. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
