What is recorded here

Cairn, a possible low burial cairn in County Limerick, Ireland, appears as a circular spread of stones about one to one and a half metres across, set in reclaimed pasture beside another stone spread. It escaped mapping and satellite views, surviving only in a 1976 description and the memory of a third cairn never found. The field may still cover a small chamber, a forgotten heap or merely a child’s game made serious by distance.

In reclaimed pasture, 416m N of townland boundary with Cahirguillamore and 50m W of possible cairn (LI031-046----). Not marked on OSi historic maps. Possible low burial cairn described in 1976 by the National Museum of Ireland (NMI Topographical Files) as; ‘a circular spread of stones (diam. 1-1.5m), 50m to E of another spread (LI031-046----) slightly raised above field level. Third one referred to but not located'. The monument is not visible on OSi orthoimages or Google Earth orthophotos.
