Situated in pasture, in a broad hollow opening out to the E. Archaeological testing (02E1445) at the site of an electricity pylon uncovered evidence of a burnt mound, (Lane 2004). Compiled by: Michael Moore. Date of upload/revision: 20th December, 2010.
Burnt mound, likely dating to the Bronze Age. Its significance lies in providing evidence of domestic or ritual activity, possibly linked to early settlement or land use in the area.
