Situated in pasture at the top of a hill. A fulacht fiadh was noted in the 1950s (NMI file). It is not visible at ground level. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). A Neolithic burnt mound (fulacht fiadh), dating to approximately 2500–500 BCE. These sites are significant as they provide insight into prehistoric cooking, processing, or ritual activities.
