Burnt mound in Carrigleagh (fermoy By., Wallstown Par.)

In tillage, on level ground at the base of a gentle N-facing slope and at the SW side of a dried-up pond. A circular spread (diam. 5m) of heat-shattered stones and charcoal-enriched soil.
