Thirty buried bodies emerged beneath the Coran Road during a March 2002 road cut, aligned west to east like ordinary Christian deaths. They had no name, no date and no visible marker, yet they waited patiently under soil that men kept paving. The road still crosses them, carrying trucks and children past a quiet chamber of forgotten life.

A group of at least 30 inhumations was uncovered in March 2002 when a new road was being built into the Coran Road Industrial estate.
