Listed as a 'long cist' in the SMR (1986) based on documentary evidence (ua Riain 1940, 261) which mentions that 'some kind of prehistoric grave was discovered by some sportsmen in 1788 in 'Grannahbegg'; the report speaks of a skeleton in a stone chest seven feet long, near which lay a 'brazen head piece' and a 'rusty spear'. Not located.

A Neolithic long cist burial, likely dating to the 4th–3rd millennium BCE. Its significance lies in providing evidence of early funerary practices and settlement in the region during the Neolithic period.
