What is recorded here

Situated on the edge of the very steep bank (H c. 10m) of the Douglas river. Circular platform with a flat summit (diam. 11m; H 1.5m) defined by a U-sectioned fosse (Wth 2m; D 0.5m) from NW-E-SW and a berm (Wth 3m) at the W. No indication of an entrance or internal features. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
