What is recorded here

Situated on a very gentle NW-facing slope at the northern end of a low ridge. Simple, possibly unfinished, granite cross (H 1.07m) cut from a boulder found in a field boundary c. 100m NW of a children's burial ground (WI016-003002-). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 17 December 2008
