In 1991, fragmentary human remains, identified as the left femur of an adult (NMI 1999:223), were discovered during turf-cutting in a bog at Donadea, at a depth of c. 0.9m below ground level. The precise location of the burial is unknown. (Cahill and Sikora 2011, Vol 2, 482)
