Lehenaghmore held a children's burial ground north of Lehenagh House, busy until the 1900s, but a housing estate now covers most of the land where those small graves once lay.
According to local information, there was a burial ground to the N of Lehenagh House. It was used as a children's burial ground up to the 1900s. Its precise location is not known and a housing estate now occupies most of this land. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
