Burial ground in Killynan (pratt)

The files of the National Museum of Ireland records that in August 1946 human remains were discovered in a sand pit at Killynan (Pratt), near Killucan, Co. Westmeath (Cahill & Sikora 2011, vol. 2, 522). The remains were apparently found in a pile and were in a poor state of preservation. According to the finders, the bone represented at least eight individuals. No associated aretfacts or grave structures were noted.
