Rectangular area (c. 5m N-S; c. 10m E-W), adjoining S side of church, shown on 1842 OS 6-inch map, probably indicates graveyard, described by OS Name Books (PJH) as adjoining parish church of Aghinagh (CO071-040002-). Field clearance stones now cover this area. According to local information, burials took place here during the Great Famine of 1840s (Hartnett 1939, 93). Bullaun stone (CO071-040003-) marked to S of church on 1938 OS 6-inch map not located. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
