Five metres south of St Anthony's holy well, a worn bullaun stone marks the place where monks once struck their own bodies in prayer. Local memory carries it from Rahan monastery, suggesting the stone crossed fields to join a newer sacred site. Its smooth surface still invites touch, preserving the physical discipline of people long gone.
