Bullaun stone in Kilcornan (dunkellin By.)

Kilcornan castle avenue once held a small granite basin, wide enough for both hands inside its rim. Westropp measured it before it vanished, which means the stone still exists somewhere near that road. People may have poured water across it, marked it, or simply walked past it until it stopped being remarkable. The avenue is still there, carrying carts and memory toward the castle. The basin is absent only from the place where last seen.
