Freestanding two-bay single-cell Roman Catholic Church, built c.1600. Now disused. Pitched slate roof having cut-stone copings. Rubble limestone walls. Lancet window openings having chamfered surrounds and metal fixed windows. Pointed arch door to south wall, having timber battened door and cut-stone threshold. Freestanding limestone Celtic memorial cross, erected c.1900, to west of site. Rubble stone boundary walls to lawned areas adjacent to building.

The simple form and structure, combined with the modest size and materials, indicate an early date. Marked on earlier maps as being in ruins, this church has been reroofed in appropriate materials. Well built in local limestone, it is an important building that enhances the range of architectural heritage at Clarinbridge, also forming a notable eyecatcher in the demesne of the former Kilcornan House.
