What is recorded here

On the crest of a slight NW-SE ridge. Rectangular structure (ext. dims 19.5m plus E-W; 7.8m N-S) defined by the grass-covered base of the E and S walls (Wth 0.8-0.9m; H 0.6-0.8m) and the E end of the N wall (L 10.8m). A fragment of a square hood-moulding from a window (RO027-017006-) is at the site, and rath (RO027-017001-) is immediately to the NE. It is regarded locally as a church, but there is no evidence of an enclosure or burial. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
