Single-arch limestone railway bridge, built 1849, over Mallow-Cork railway line. Rusticated stone walls and rusticated voussoirs to round arch. Cut-stone impost courses and having string courses above arch faces, and cut-stone copings to parapets with square-profile piers to ends.

The railway bridge is solidly constructed with rusticated limestone walls. The dressings are finely carved and are clearly the work of skilled craftsmen. The cut limestone dressings form an interesting textural variation against the rusticated stonework. The bridge serves as a reminder of the quality of the engineering and craftsmen's skills in the mid-nineteenth century.
