Single-span reinforced concrete road bridge over stream, c.1925, possibly incorporating fabric of earlier bridge, c.1825. Unpainted rendered walls with panelled piers flanking panelled parapet having concrete coping, and random rubble stone flanking walls. Single reinforced concrete lintel span. Sited spanning tributary of River Barrow with overgrown banks to stream.
An attractive bridge representing a small-scale component of the early twentieth-century civil engineering heritage of Gowran.
