Three-arch hump back road bridge over river, dated 1780; extant 1838. Coursed rubble limestone walls centred on triangular cutwaters to piers to upriver (south-west) elevation having overgrown capping with rounded coping to parapets centred on lichen-covered cut- or hammered limestone date stone ("1780"). Series of three segmental arches with cut- or hammered limestone voussoirs centred on cut-limestone keystones. Sited spanning Toormore River with unkempt banks to river.

A narrow bridge 'built by Patrick Randell McDonnele [Patrick Randall McDonnell (d. 1786)]' regarded as an important component of the later eighteenth-century civil engineering heritage of County Mayo with the architectural value of the composition confirmed not only by the traditional construction in unrefined local fieldstone offset by limestone dressings demonstrating good quality workmanship, but also by the elegant "sweep" of the arches making a pleasing visual statement at a crossing over the Toormore River.
