Single-arch limestone railway bridge, built 1849, carrying embanked Dundalk to Enniskillen line over road. Round arch having rock-faced rusticated voussoirs, and chamfered margined and brush-hammered impost course. Snecked cu0- stone abutments with rock-faced rusticated stone quoins to abutments. Brick soffit to arch. Snecked cut-stone walls and splayed buttressing walls with curved cut-stone coping. railway line and embankment now gone and bridge stands proud over road.

The simple form of this bridge, along with the articulation achieved through stone dressing, is typical of several railway bridges on this railway line and displays skilled stone masonry in the variety of treatments used. The rock-faced treatment to the voussoirs emphasises the structural strength of the bridge. It is a visual reminder of the Great Northern Railway which closed in the mid-twentieth century.
