Single-span railway bridge, built 1862, over road. Rusticated limestone piers and abutments with metal span and parapet railings.
Monumental limestone piers add to imposing structure. Forms an integral part of a group of railway structures with a former station and pedestrian bridge to north. These structures are a reminder of the engineering achievements of the great railway era.
