Detached gable-fronted single-bay single-storey former boathouse, built c.1880, now in use as store. Pitched slate and artificial slate roof. Rendered rubble stone walls with red brick dressings to openings. Segmental-headed door openings to gables, one with pair of timber battened double-leaf doors and one now blocked. Segmental-headed window openings with limestone sill, now blocked. Rubble stone slipway leading to sea.

A picturesque small-scale building that although now used for storage, retains much of its form and fabric. The retention of features such as the brick window and door surrounds enhance its appearance, while the slipway is a striking feature which adds to its setting and context. The boat house and slipway are reminders of the maritime activities in the locality in the past. There was probably a connection between the boathouse, a now demolished coastguard which was located to the east and one or more of the formal terraces in the village.
