What is recorded here

Beta Tor is a sea cliff or coastal rock feature located in County Down, composed primarily of basalt formed during the Palaeogene period, around 60 to 55 million years ago, as a result of volcanic activity associated with the opening of the North Atlantic. It is notable as part of the region's extensive basaltic landscape, which includes other prominent geological formations such as the Mourne Mountains.
